[A/S] Re: Reasonable price for 1979 31' International? (Follow up)
George,
Thanks for the suggestion of converting the twins to a queen. I had
thought of that, since the outdoor storage hatch is on the "driver's
side" for both models, and there is evidently nothing but storage
space under the twin bed on the other side. My wood working skills
are up to the challenge.
However, wouldn't I have to remove the roof locker or overhead
cabinet at the foot end of the bed so I wouldn't wack my head on it
when walking around the bed? I've haven't been in the bedroom of a
queen bed model and just assumed there was only a locker above the
head of the bed.
Anyway, while the locker at the foot of the bed was probably easy to
remove, was there any wiring concealed in it that had to be dealt
with, and how did you patch the screw holes?
On another topic, I am tentativly scheduled to check out the trailer
on Saturday, but supposedly another prospective buyer is going to
look at it on Friday. This person lives a few hours away and has not
called the owner back to confirm a time, so I'm hoping he's a no-
show, or does not leave a deposit.
