Re: [A/S] Dithering
Others answered so well I wasn't going to.... but a few thoughts.
Mechanical difficulties are a pain, but a cellphone and good insurance
coverage take alot of the sting out of them. If the truck breaks down you still
have the trailer to stay in. If the trailer needs to go in you can probably still
stay in it, if not insurance will cover a motel room.
Lonliness could be a problem..... it isn't for me. I'm never lonely in
campgrounds, if I feel like I want company I simply walk out the door with the dogs
and within minutes I'm talking to someone.
If you really are worried about being away from your friends that's a real
consideration. Maybe take a friend with you or take some short local trips and
see if you are unhappy.
A caravan would be good, but they are quite expensive.....
I do like traveling with other people, but they have their own trailer. It's
more fun seeing sights and sharing them with others..... but I have fun when
I'm alone too.
I spend quite a bit of time visiting friends around the country which helps
too.
