By the way, the Route 66 software is available through Amazon (at 
$34.99) and other vendors in the US, not from the originators in the 
Netherlands (at least as of a few weeks ago). Just search for "route 
66 Mac".

Our'96 Suburban's passenger-side dash is a perfect spot to toss the 
eMap - it just lays on its little backside and scans the heavens. I 
suspect a GPS-friendly dashboard will be an important spec when next 
we upgrade our tow vehicle.
