      Good catch, Richard.  I had Steeltex tires on my 1999 Suburban.  On 
one trip, we suddenly felt a severe vibration in the 'burb, and pulled off 
to a mechanics shop.  He looked at the  four tires, and pointed to one that 
had a rounded profile (from the front) instead of the expected flat 
profile, and said it had a tread separation.  We installed the spare and 
problem solved.  When I got back to Atlanta, I had all five tires junked 
and replaced with Michelins.  No more problems, yet.
