I do travel with my cats in the trailer..... one of them freaks if you take 
him out.  This summer I put them in carriers and had them ride in the truck 
through NYC... for safety reasons.  

One of them hissed and carried on for two days after. He lives in the trailer 
and doesn't want to be taken out for any reason!

That said, if you put your cat in the trailer he's still going to throw up or 
relieve himself isn't he? Are we talking onesies or twosies?  <g>

Does he have a cat box in the tow vehicle? Seems like that would be a good 
thing.  Throwing up won't hurt him.... but I wouldn't love the relieving himself 
part.  

Maybe he just needs more trips under his belt.
