  This trailer has a 4500lb dry weight and 400 lb tongue weight. Wait 
and see what kind of truck she is going to use. As long as it is not 
ranger or s-10 or this size truck it should not be a problem. She may 
have truck in mind bigger then what you got who knows. Are you going 
to let the hitch go with the trailer? If so there should not be any 
problem with anything 1/2 or bigger as long as it is a long 
wheelbase. This also has 19 1/2" hitch height.  I tow with a 1/2 to 
Suburban and have for years and have know problem. A lot depends to 
on what she may want to haul in the truck. This trailer was towed 
with cars for years. Remember back then they did not have the large 
double cab trucks to carry familys around like they do now.  I hope 
this helps. If you get to involved in this you will never sell the
