I was there during 73-74 so I am sure that they were out front while I was out
back<G>  Alton sadly, could not keep it together - he drank the business away.
I believe that Airstream PROBABLY declared teh dealership as a non operating
entity and turned it over to the first responsible dealership which asked for
it, thus - Billy Sims.  I am not sure that Alton is even alive today.  His dad
was good people though!  Actually, so was Alton as long as his dad was there to
guide him..

the lot on the corner of 4th and Q is cleaned off and vacant now I think.  As is
a lot of that side of town.  Have never seen a town spread out over so much
cotton fields and prairie as is Lubbock today.  Only fully zoned city of its
size in Texas that I know of.
