Small airplanes use a constant voltage relay for the power to the starter, 
electronics etc.I have seen some over 25 years old still working fine. Some only 
last a few years. They are very dependable as a whole.
I have a question for some of you electronic wizzies. I have interference 
from my 12 volt fluorescent lights on my TV. I believe a capacitor will fix this 
but do not know what value to use.
