[A/S] Powerstroke

Hi all-
This is a bit off topic, but with all the recent diesel conversation I 
thought I'd give it a go:
I have a 2000 Ford F250 crew cab short box with the 7.3 L Powerstroke 
diesel. Rapidly approaching 100K miles. While changing the oil 
yesterday, I noticed an oily residue on the metallic piping directly 
behind the turbo charger.
I'm concerned for the integrity of the turbo. Anyone have experience 
with this?

This is my second Ford diesel. My first was a 1992 7.3 without the 
turbo. I drove it for 250K miles with absolutely no engine problems, 
pulling a 2 ton tool trailer most of the way. Of course at 250K miles I 
had replaced nearly every other component: alternator, starter, 4WD 
auto hubs, etc etc...
