 From the photos it looks as though the "crease" mentioned on the right 
side is very minor.  I'd just polish it as is and consider it a "life 
scar".  After all the unit is almost as old as I am, and that's a lot 
older than I act.

I'd go for it, all other things being equal.  It will no doubt need some 
refurb/resto work, but with a new nineteen footer listing at over $25k 
you can do a lot of parts shopping, still be enough money ahead to 
travel with the rig, and be able to tell admirers (and there will be 
lots) "I restored it myself".
