Not only is it possible, if you have a factory tow package it's probably 
automatic.  AFAIK all factory tow packages include an isolation device, 
typically a relay that works on the ignition switch or an oil pressure 
switch.  There are also after market diode style isolators which will 
accomplish the same thing, but will manage the charge cycle so the prime 
mover gets the juice until it's charged then the alternator output is 
diverted to the coach battery.
