 Hi, The Electro mechanical (looks like a ford starter solenoid) is  
cheap and very reliable. All that I have installed are still in 
service...BUT there are two differant kinds. You need the one labeled 
as "constant voltage". The ones commonly used as starter solenoids 
are for intermittent use only. Or do like I do. Unplug it at the camp 
site. That's really the cheapest way. Good luck, Arnie
