Dan and List,
I found that Sam's Club has an AGM (cranking) battery (not deep cycle for
the trailer) for your tow vehicle that has 1000 Cold Cranking Amps. I had
not seen one with that high of a rating in a battery that would fit in my
GMC truck. It was the proper size (27 or 29 which ever one that was OEM in
the truck). It is the "Champion" Brand - XLT. It has a 36 month free 100%
replacement warrantee. The price was just below $100 as I recall.  I only
put it in the truck back in the spring, so don't know how long it will last.
I will probably never know sense I have a new GMC 2500 HD ordered.
