Mick, I just took delivery of my 5th Airstream (two Argosy's and now 
three Airstreams).  I have always complained about the shabby 
condition of many of the new units.  Maybe it was the dealers who 
didn't clean them up before putting them on the lots, but they 
didn't 'show' very well.  However, this new one is the very best (so 
far) that I have seen.  Less problems on delivery and I really think 
that it will prove to be a very good unit.  

In a previous post, I remarked on the 'new' finish.  I bought a 
new '98 and in two years, the finish was pealing off.  Down here in 
Tucson, there is a shell that has been placed here by the factory 
and has been sitting in the desert sun for about 5 years and the 
skin looks new.
