[A/S] Buyer Question

Looking for honest comments. Are the late model Airstreams worth the 
$$ (build quality, dependability, etc) or should I look for an older 
model. Looking to buy a 25 to 28 ft model. I have no problem spending 
for quality, but don't have cash to burn. My typical MO is to buy the 
best quality I can afford (new), take good care of it, and keep it 
for a long time. As an example, my current truck is a '92 Chev 3/4 
with 150K on the odo and it is as dependable today as the day I 
bought it (maybe more dependable, since I have the bugs worked out). 
I think you get the idea, is a new Safari or Classic for me, or 
should I look for a used, better built older model?
