Hi Jeff,
We don't have our Airstream yet, but we have an old Nomad.  This 
same thing happened when the water pump continually ran because we 
didn't have the trailer completely level.  Couldn't really hear the 
waterpump as one would normally hear it when the water is turned on, 
but just the same it was the culprit because of unlevel trailer.
Maybe could be the same thing?  Otherwise, there is a draw on the 
battery somewhere.
