Ebert,

I have a Greenlee Digital multi meter which I like very much.

Professional electrical supply houses carry them, as does Home Depot.

This meter is likely on the pricey side as Greenlee tools are never cheap,
but are excellent. It is also built like a tank, so I don't anticipate it
breaking.  I think the meter is made by Triplet a long established
electrical meter manufacturer known for their quality meters.  [I don't know
how much the Greenlee costs, since it was a present from a Greenlee sales
manager.]
