Phyllis, you need a Digital multimeter with sufficient current 
capacity to check your electric brakes (20 amps will work). Mine is 
Metex brand #M3800, 20 amp capacity for $40 from: JAMECO, 1355 
Shoreway Rd. Belmont, CA 94002. (800) 831-4242. (www.jameco.com)  
Jameco part # 27115. This is an excellent meter at a good price.I got 
one after a recommendation at phrannie.org, a truly wonderful source 
of RV wisdom. Nick.
