Re: [A/S] Flat tire experience with 2001 Excella

Thanks to everyone for their input on my bad flat experience. We
purchased AAA Plus RV a year ago. We called AAA that night and
learned they would come and change the tire, but only if we had a
jack and a spare. They don't assist in getting a flat repaired.

I am still under warranty and I will be taking it to a dealer this
weekend. I'm not sure if there was any other damage but I'll have it
checked. Priot to this, I had noticed that the frame can have some
flex in it when I didn't get the BAL stabilizer jacks down evenly in
place. It caused me to be unable to close the entrance door to the
trailer until I took some pressure off the stabilizer.

I should have been more prepared for the possibility of having a
flat and I'm very grateful there wasn't a blowout. My frustration
expressed in my first post is perhaps because I expected more out of
an Airstream. The overall quality of the coach and the great times
we've had in it so far, outweigh the negatives by far. I'm still
learning and appreciate the input I get from the group!
