Dan -

A spare is always a good idea and a motor club membership for your trailer
would have saved you the consternation.  Many are available.

Check out the Blue Beret for one or Good Sam.
They come to you fully prepared AND have experience
with RV's.   Some will repair the tire on the spot.

As to the cabinet breaking are you still in warrantee?

I've had a cabinet door and closet door pop open because the frame was 
warped because the
trailer was lifted to high during tire repair.  Never had one split but I 
suppose if it was jammed when it was
warped it could split or crack.

Was anything else damaged?  Any bulges in the body infront of or behind the 
wheel well.?
