My trailer had a spare when I bought it used so I can't speak for that. Seems 
like the dealer should have told you, you weren't dealing with Airstream 
direct.

As for the cabinet splitting I'm stunned. I had a truck driver jack my 
trailer up, using two jacks since we couldn't find one that was strong enough and my 
cabinets stayed together fine.
