The owner's manual for my '77 Excella 500 explains that you can jack the 
trailer up or drive up a ramp with the front tire of the dual axle trailer.  
The tire with wheel can be taken off and you can drive up to 100 miles at no 
more than 30 mph on the other 3 wheels.  Guess what?  I had a blowout and 
did exactly what the manual told me to do.  It works!  At first glance, you 
wonder why the heck they did not include a tire rack, tire and lug wrench 
for the price you pay.  The tire and tire rack are available as an option.  
Some have it installed when the trailer is built and others have it added 
later on.
