Hey Guys,

I wrote an expert and asked him about the problem you were having.... he's 
suffering with a toothache, but wrote this reponse.

"Anyway- it sounds like the vacuum breaker is bad- it is a fairly cheap fix, 
but somewhat of a pain to get to. The part needed is Thetford p/n 09871, and 
Bob Spears has written a pretty good article on replacing it (and other parts) 
at http://www.pngusa.net/~bspear/toilet.htm - most of it deals with the base 
rebuild, but he does talk about the vacuum breaker."
