I went to three different Verizon stores (all three company owned) three
months ago and they ALL steered me away from the Motorola., even though two
of them had them.  They claimed the Motorola eats batteries and the claimed
battery life is really about HALF of what Motorola claims.  They all
recommended the LG VX4400, which is what I got. I also bought the optional
high capacity battery.  Unfortunately I can't get the USB kit for my laptop
yet because there are bugs in the current software for this particular
phone.  A fixed software package is supposed to be available for the VX4400
any day now.
