[A/S] Verizen cellphone service-vs-AT&T Wireless

Hi, folks:

         I just changed cellphone providers to Verizen from AT&T, so that I 
could use Verizen's Mobile Office internet service (and, so that I could 
get a new phone, as my old Nokia kept disconnecting itself).  Does anyone 
have any experience with the Motorola V-120 phone?  I'm hoping to be able 
to get internet access at least some of the time at the International (I 
know, they have modem stations set up; I've used them, and that's ok from 
the exhibition hall, but our trailer will not be at the exhibition hall, I 
don't think), and during the 52-day Nor by Nor'east caravan (section 2) 
we'll be taking after the International.
         One oddity:  I called just now to cancel my AT&T wireless, and was 
told that my billing cycle begins on the ninth of each month; so, I will be 
charged until July 9 for cellphone service I won't use.  Customers are 
pretty much helpless.  AT&T, the lady said, used to pro-rate services, but 
stoppped because of complaints.  Yeah, right.
         Oh, well, we're going trailering in our Airstream, now equipped 
with all-wheel working brakes, and not even robbery is going to rain on 
that that for us.  If I get on the internet with my new cellphone fairly 
often, maybe I'll remember to let you all know what we're seeing and doing.
