Hi Tony,

True, you have to use the jack and put it up and down til you see the hitch 
bar loosen. It's very slight, but you'll learn to recognize it.

Still not sure which drop bar I need, 2" or 4" ?  The nose of the trailer 
sits
just a little high (maybe 2" front to back) with the 2" bar.  If I were to 
lower the front 2" then the back end would go up about 2" and the trailer 
would
be tipped nose down by about an inch.

My trailer tips down a bit for the same reason. I have a 6" bar and should 
have a 5... no such thing.  The way I see it, less air drag with the trailer 
down in front. <g> Four years later it hasn't hurt anything.
