Re: [A/S] hitches...cars,,.trucks

I wish that everyone would note that these are all LONG wheelbase,
super heavy suspensions and generally as stated before, the truck or
tow weighs as much as or more than the trailer.

anyone who uses a light wt mini suv or van or other short wheel base
tow to pull anything much bigger or heavier than a mid sized tent
trailer is very likely asking for trouble if hit by heavy winds, wet
roads, etc. in fine, I would prefer not to be on the same hiway as
some of the people on this list who have advocated pulling trailers
which weigh more than the tow and/or trailers whose front axle to tow
vehicle rear axle distance is longer than the tow vehicle's wheelbase.
Any of these combinations are just plain scary to many of us old
timers who still will not pull without a wt distributing hitch
regardless of what we are pulling with.

fwiw, I have happily sold my Hensley and have two parties on hold in
case the earnest money does not show up.

I am now selling my pullrite hitch which will fit any suburban up to a
1992 I believe. If interested, please contact me OFF List. chasm at
texas dot net.

cheers
