the screen door is removed first of course.  the liner is in two
pieces for a reason ,

if you need to work on the door lock, you remove the bottom portion
if you absolutely must.  preferably, just enough to get your hand in
there.

if you need to work on the top half, you remove the top half of the
inner skin.  the internal bracing maintains the rough fitting or
alignment.  it will not take care of the fine adjustments.
that is why one has to remove rivets and "warp" the door with wood
blocks between the door frame and the frame of the door itself while
pushing from the outside.

I really hated working on doors! but it was not the worst job on a
trailer.
