Welcome to this mixed up world. I think you should go for it and not look 
back. The seller apparently knows he can get more for it and will probably 
not go any lower. If you feel good about it and its' nice, just do it. As you 
get a few extra bucks later you will have plenty of time to fix things. Just 
try to make sure everything is as it seems. You don't want to buy something 
with a hidden problem. Ask the seller to tow it to the closest Airstream 
shop, meet him there and have the shop go over all systems. Tell the seller 
that you will write a check for the agreed amount providing it passes 
inspection. If not, you could offer to adjust the price accordingly. The shop 
can give you an instant estimate as to the cost. Do your dealing right there. 
You could even split the cost of repairs if you want it real bad.
