[A/S] It 's Home
Well the A/S is in the yard. My husband managed to find time to pick
it up today. This morning I drove over an hour to look at a different
A/S ( shorter, older and cheaper) because hubby thought he wanted
shorter. He actually told me to buy the smaller trailer, if I wanted
and then we could decide which one to keep. The shorter trailer had a
nicer skin, but I was a little nervous about the rear bumber not
seemingly attached well to the body. The interior was also very worn.
I didn't make an offer on it, but it is still an option. The one in
our possession is actually more scratched up on the exterior than I
originally thought, but the interior is in better shape and the
appliances all work. ( Unknown on the older trailer.) I was looking
around inside our new baby and found lots of receipts ( a new power
jack a couple of years ago) and welcome letter from WBCCI. Also found
a 1990 sales brochure for Airstreams. My camera isn't working at the
moment, but I would love to share a picture of one of my peacocks on
the roof of the A/S admiring himself. Hubby warned me they would love
that silver.
