Hi Chris,
When the factory replaced the roof panels on my trailer because of hail 
damage, they removed the old and replaced with a whole new sheet. They also 
removed the ceiling from inside and recoated the seams of the panels to make 
sure it was water tight. That was about 12 years ago and the trailer is still 
sealed and does not leak.
