I'm so sorry about the truck and trailer but so glad you are okay. What a 
nightmare, I think all of us worry about that but we fulltimers have more to 
lose when it happens.

We are currently looking at a B190 van.  I know, too small
to full-time in.  Lets just say it's a timid first step towards
motorhomeing.  I don't feel like towing anything right now.>

I can understand your not wanting to tow, but a B-190????  There's no room 
for anything in one.....

As for going to motorhoming...... to each his own of course, but if a 
motorhome flips there is no protection around you like the Suburban.  
Granted, they don't flip often, but if they do you are not protected by a 
steel cage.

What about a truck like mine and a fifth wheel?  If I ever quit pulling a 
travel trailer I would go for a fiver..... I think they are better for 
fulltiming simply because of all the extra room and basement storage space.

semis doesn't mean all is well.  If I ever tow a large trailer
again it will be with a Hensley or Pull-rite hitch!>

Yeah, that's why I can't understand people who tell me my truck and Hensley 
are overkill for my trailer. I have made some amazing emergency maneuvers and 
after each thought I should have flipped the whole rig with what I just 
did.....  I know the only reason I haven't flipped iit is the big honkin' 
truck and the Hensley.

I'm so glad you are okay...... my heart goes out to you. It's got to be 
devistating to lose your home.
