Hello group!  I've checked the archives but don't see an answer to my
question.  I hope one of you will have a simple fix for me.

I have the Magic Chef range/oven, and the pilot lights and burns steady.  If
I dial up the temperature, nothing happens, even after an hour.  The pilot
remains lit and burning steady.  Ideas, please?
