If you can fit a second battery under the hood, great. Otherwise, you might
consider one of the portable battery buddies that charge with either a 110
or 12 volt cigarette lighter hookup and have up to 600 cranking amps for
situations where you need a little extra power. I've hooked mine up to a
dead Airstream battery to operate the electric jack on occasions. Some even
have built in inverters (Sam's was selling a nifty one for a while for about
$70  with an inverter).  The also make car batteries that have a separate
cell built-in with enough juice to crank the car if the main cell is dead.
