[A/S] 65 amp in tow vehicle; two small??

My well cared for 1972 F250 camper special (390 engine) has what was called 
in 1972 a "high output" alternator.  It puts out 65 amps.  It just broke 
and I had to replace it with another 65 amp alternator.

In reading performance magazines (after I had my alternator replaced) I see 
alternators that go up to 200 amps!  Most are called "one wire alternators" 
as they bypass the regulator bolted on the firewall, and have a regulator 
built in.  And so you run "one wire" from the battery to the alternator.

I have seen kits for my 1972 390 Ford engine for a 1 wire 130 amp output 
alternator.

Here are my questions:

1)  I will probably be towing a smaller, older Airstream, but i am into 
electronics and will replace the RV battery in the Airstream with a bank of 
golf cart batteries.  I will have a lot of electronics on board.

2)  I am setting up a second battery under the hood (isolated of corse) 
that will charge from the alternator but not start the pickup.

Will this 65 amp Alternator do the job, or should I upgrade to this bolt on 
replacement 130 amp alternator?

What amp output do modern alternators in tow vehicles put out?
