I have the Safari 25 ft. LS and I would opt out of the carpet if had the 
chance. It feels nice under the feet but it is a chore, as is any 
carpeting, to keep clean. I'm a bit nuts over it, taking shoes off at 
the door, etc. I keep towel at the door to wipe my dogs feet! All the 
outside storage areas have the carpeting and I kept the plastic on them 
to make it easier to keep clean.

The good thing about it is slippage. On the road anything I store on the 
floor stays put vs sliding around on a hard surface flooring. It's also 
nice under the bin areas, quieter all around.

I figure when it wears out or gets too dirty I'll tear it up and put 
down wood.
