Hi All,

I have a '63 Safari that I'm hoping to use for the first time this 
summer.

Among other things, I wanted to find out if this trailer has a braking
system and how it operates.  It's a single axle trailer.

I have a trailer that I use for hauling that has a surge system with
hydraulic brakes.  The person who built it for me is suggesting I use
the same type of system on my Airstream.  I'm not so sure about
this option.

If anyone is familiar with these things, I'd appreciate your help.
