looking at the picture, it would appear to me, that the Wilson Cell antenna
is just a standard, run-of-the-mill, co-linear antenna that is held above
the actual mounting point. The mounting point is the 3/8x24 threaded base, a
rod (mast) that holds the antenna up, three radials, then the actual
antenna. The feed point is where the radials meet the mast.

Now I suggest this is the case since I have not seen one upclose and
personal, from the other versions that include a Motorola NMO mounted
antenna...

Since the former owner of our motorhome installed a NMO mount on the roof, I
just bought a Larsen and screwed it on the mount... I have a long history
with Larsen Antennas...
