[A/S] Help! rear end fresh water leak!

OK all you Mr. and MS. Fix-its!

Please, can anyone give us an idea on a fix for a rear fresh water leak
under the center of our rear bathroom '73 International?  We have
experienced this intermittently on our trip which is less than a week
old.  It is becoming worse.  Even though the floor in the bathroom is
dry it seems to be leaking below it. Somewhere between the floor and the
underbelly.  The underbelly has a rear section that extends from the
bumper forward but not beyond the axels, it overlaps the section that
continues the underbelly. The water is seeping through this rear
section. There may be tiny holes through this piece, but when Alan looks
in the rear compartments there is no evidence of leakage.

A problem with our water heater is possibly related, but perhaps not.
The water heater is going out occasionally and this problem is not wind
related. Also today, when we had the water heater on high it partially
forced out the relief valve causing more water to leak out of the aft
belly pan. Last year the water heater blew the relief valve too.

Alan is contemplating unscrewing the aft belly plate section to see if
he can see the source of the leak (s). We are camping near the
Louisiana/TX border (Sea Rim State Park)We could go to Houston and we
are planning on going to Corpus Christi tomorrow. I am wondering if we
need to see a repair shop and if so, who would any of you
recommend....we are just starting our trip and I hope we can resolve
this so that it won't force us to limit our enjoyment of the comforts of
our old 'stream.

Any ideas of what repairs of this type would cost? Alan is not excited
about spending the $$$ on repairs, but thought I would ask.

I know I am asking a lot, but why not, nothing ventured nothing gained?
