[A/S] internet access via satelite

I am thinking about Starband or Directway... what are you full timers using?

I live in the 19th Century part of Ohio... I am between Cincinnati and
Middletown on I-75 (I can SEE the AT&T fiber backbone from my window, but
cannot get access to it!)... Cincinnati Bell says they have no date set for
upgrades in 2003/2004 to get xDSL and my cable company is Adelphia... and
that sorta speaks volumes there.

So, I have been looking at a satelite UP/DOWN ISP. I have tried to call
Directway for two days only to get a busy signal each time and no one has
answered my email from the starband web site.

Suggestions?

Also, do you have a static or dynamic IP address?  I am not interested in
streaming video or audio... just something faster tha dialup.
