[A/S] Full of questions

Dear ones,

My name is Pallas Stanford.  I am mid-life Unitarian Universalist seminarian
who is thinking of living in a travel trailer as a means of taking my show
on the road - so to speak.  I have lots of questions and I hope you don't
mind if I ask them to you.  I appreciate that your group description was
very welcoming and that I don't have to already own an Airstream to
participate here.  

My first question is as to whether it is true that older Airstreams hold
their value and, if it is, how old a one would I need to get in order for
this to be true?  My plans are not to restore one or to try to get one in
its original condition or anything like that.  I just need it to big enough
and to be furnished such that two people can actually live in it.  Of course
I realize I would have to take good care of it but I would.  Part of my work
is about recognizing and rejoicing in the goodness of things as they come to
us and make our living possible and even comfortable.  

Second, I understand that there is nothing like an Airstream but are there
other travel trailers that will also hold their value?

Also, do older Airstreams have gray water tanks and levelling mechanisms
and, if not, what is involved in getting these installed?

Finally, I just wonder what wisdom you have for someone who is thinking of
doing this?
