 You might get some of your questions about Vintage Airstreams answered by
going to http://www.airstream.net and looking at the FAQ, under Resources.

For full-timing, you'll probably want a 30' or even 34' trailer and a
3/4-ton truck. You'll be hauling lots of "stuff", so don't skimp on the tow
vehicle. Most folks here prefer Diesel-powered P/Us for their heavy-duty
"horse".

You won't find too many SOBs (Some Other Brand) that hold their value nearly
as well as Airstreams. One possible exception is the older Avion trailers,
the ones that look like an A/S, not the newer ones.

Most travel trailers don't have "leveling mechanisms",  just stabilizer
jacks. You use leveling blocks (Lynx or a stack of planks) to get 'er level
side-to-side, then use the power tongue jack for front-to-rear leveling.
Once level, you lower the stabilizer jacks to remove the "rock & roll" while
walking around.
