[A/S] Re Sam and Lee's Dripping A/c
Sam I will be anxious to hear what Airstream does about your leaky
a/c. Last spring we purchased a "new" 2000 34' that had been wasting
away on a dealers lot. Anytime that it is raining or really humid the
a/c drips water from out of the blower vents. I have no reason to
believe the line itself is leaking, seems more like the line won't
pass enough water and the tray runs over. It does it on a/c and heat
pump. Never had this problem with the previous 31'. We went camping
this weekend and had the problem, so while it was still fresh on my
mind this afternoon, I tried running a wire up the drain tube from
below. I could run about 5 feet of wire before it stopped. Then I
dragged my air hose out and tried to blow it out. It appears somewhat
obstructed from the air flow. The tube is not completely stopped up
because it does pass some water but it seems to not be able to pass
enough.
Keep me posted.
Anybody else got any ideas? Charlie Burke are you out there?
Regards,
Lee
