Re: [A/S] '73 Argosy
Hi Walt,
The trailer sounds great... love Argosys. As for the tow vehicle, *I*
wouldn't attempt to tow it with a Ford Ranger.... I guess it depends on your
comfort level.
If you are going to be on hills or the interstate I think you'll wish you had
a bigger, more powerful longer wheelbase truck.
< I understand it has a front couch that converts to a larger bed, and
there is a single bed/couch in the rear after the kitchen, and then the bath
of course. Is this configuration a desireable one? >
That's a matter of choice... if you like it it is, if you don't it isn't....
it's your money.
< It has newer tires, with only 120 miles on them, but has been sitting for
some time, at a campground.>
How long? If the tires went 120 miles 10 years ago it's too long... it is a
single or tandem axle? You could try it and the worst that would happen is a
flat... the problem with flats is you don't know when you have one...speaking
from experience.
I say go for it, but have a friend with a fullsize pickup go with you......
