I am afraid that I would NOT let some plastic screen stop me from going out a
window.
and re. burning wood in a trailer - all trailers are too air tight to burn
anything in without  a lot of ventilation.  wood fires require a LOT of fresh
air which in fact, can end up smothering the fire as well as all living beings
(dogs and cats first as they are usually on the floor where the CO starts
building up).
I do not like any kind of burning inside of a trailer.  unless you are willing
to open a window WIDE to allow ventilation of teh CO and other gases.
