The have lots & lots of neat articles on how to do it, both solar and wind.

If you're on a fixed site, providing your own power isn't nearly as much
problem as if it has to be mobile. You have plenty of room for a solar array
and wind genny, plus the weight of the batteries doesn't mean anything. A
small genset is almost mandatory for such a setup, it's much more economical
than trying to provide for 100% of your usage with AE. Seems like the rule
of thumb is your genset should be used for no more than about 200
hours/year.
