[A/S] Flying Airstream, What to do?

I just joined the group today. I have been been on the VAC mailing
list for several years, but this spring I technically moved out of the
realm of vintage Airstream owner when
I traded my '70 Sovereign 31' for an '83 34' Limited. My family and I
have really
enjoyed the relative luxury of this newer model, especially on our
trip to South
Dakota in August. Nature interviened on September 19th, however when a
small
tornado or micro-burst picked up our beloved new toy and slammed it
into a utility
pole in our driveway.I have pictures posted at:

Now I am faced with a decision. Since the damage is in the center of
the side,
the whole side would have to be stripped off to repair. Bill Thomas
Camper Sales
in St. Louis estimates over $15,00 to repair, which is at least $5,000
more
than it is worth. My options will be: 1)Take the differnece between
the actual
value and the salvage value and keep the trailer and live with the
dent; 2)Take
the difference and try to part it, out or sell it for salvage myself;
3)Or take
the money and let the insurance company take posession and go buy the
'90 34'
Excella that Bill Thomas has on the lot.

What to do?,what to do???? Any advice?
