The flooring is chipboard.  The rot is surely from water leaks, not 
dryrot.  Chipboard has many good properties, but water resistence is 
not one of them.  Be that as it may....

You may have a major problem here.  The reason it is so expensive to 
replace the floor is that the shell, or body, must come off the frame 
to do this!  The shell is attached to a chanel, that is in turn 
attached to the frame.  If the wood has rotted away under that 
chanel, it is now attached to - nothing.  So, in an extreme case, 
your shell is now being carried only by wishful thinking.

But surely it is not as bad as all that.  Just how much is rotted?  
Is there rot clear through, or just on the surface?  Are you talking 
about wood that is still there, or is it actually gone?  You 
say "much of the perimeter", just how much?  10%?  50%?  More?  And 
where is it, specifically?  Front? Kichen Cabinet?  Bath?  Everywhere?

Another poster mentioned Rot Doctor - I would concur in that 
recommendation IF there is enough wood left for it to work.  It is 
wonderful stuff.
