Aside to Hunter:  I ran Alloc flooring everywhere but the bathroom, 
where I put in sheet linolem, uh, linoluem, no - lineol... vinyl.  
Those Pergo-type floors really brighten everything up, and you can 
just sweep it out.  A real bear to install around all the protusions 
and corners in an Aistream, though.

The toilet has to sit on something - I would think a prefinished 
solid surface panel would be even faster to install.  What do I 
know?  But that reminded me -

During the demolition phase, I came across various small pieces of 
paneling.  These pieces were obviously cutoffs that were saved to be 
used in just such places.  If one side happened to face out where it 
could be seen they simply slapped that oak-look vinyl contact paper 
on it to match the walls in my Sovereign.  My favorite was a piece of 
genuine oak veneer paneling (from an Excella perhaps?) covered in, 
yes, oak contact paper!
