Please give me some advice.  I bought an 85 Excella 29footer that was in
fair condition at a low price.
I discovered that much of the floorboard perimeter was dryrotted through.
Replacing the floor is going to be an expensive option according to local RV
shops.  One guy suggested just laying new
plywood over the floorboard and screwing it into to metal crossmembers.
That certainly sounds
like the cheapest option and something I could do myself.  Here are my
questions?
 1. Is this a good or bad idea?
 2. If I choose to do this,
     a. what type and thickness of plywood?
     b. how do I screw into the crossmembers?
     c. what problems might I encounter?
Thanks for any help as you can see I am a real novice.  I have a little farm
up in Oregon and was planning on using the Airstream as an office for my
